Cluster Packet

Home Up

All first year 9th and 10th grade students will rotate through each lab for a one to two-week period of time. During this “clustering period” students will be exposed to the basic competencies of the entire cluster. Local employers and former Power and Transportation Cluster students currently employed in these fields have validated these competencies.

At the end of the rotation period, students will have the opportunity to meet with a guidance counselor to review his or her grades, and then apply to a lab in which they would like further training. The North Montco Technical Career Center staff will do their best to match a student’s talents and interests with their chosen career choice. All students will be provided with a list of competencies — a Duty & Task List — designed specifically for their career objective.
